What to get a teacher from the whole class

You want the teacher to feel properly thanked, not handed something an exhausted chat picked at the last minute. Here are gift ideas a teacher will really use, and a way to collect the money without chasing anyone.

Why the class gift turns into a headache

Choosing the gift is the easy part. The chat around it is not.

  • Who has paid?

Transfers arrive without names, screenshots sink under hundreds of messages, and by June nobody can say who sent what. The whole list lives in one parent's head.

  • The reminders, and the one who covers the gap

Someone has to write "just a reminder…" for the third time and feel like a debt collector. When the date gets close and the sum is short, that same person quietly pays the rest.

  • The awkward amount

A fixed sum is easy for some families and heavy for others, and nobody wants to say so in front of the whole class. So people go quiet, or slip out of the chat.

Teacher gift ideas by class budget

Budgets are for the whole class together, not per parent. Twenty families at 10 ₾ each is already 200 ₾.

Up to 150 ₾

Small but personal, and not another "world's best teacher" mug. Here the children's part matters more than the price.

  • Laboratory My Home ფოტო ალბომი
An album of notes and drawings from every child
    57.85 ₾89 ₾

Each child fills one page, and teachers keep these for years, long after the flowers are gone.

For example: Laboratory My Home ფოტო ალბომი
  • A bookshop gift card
    50–150 ₾

The teacher picks the books, so it is never the wrong one.

  • Two theatre tickets
    50–120 ₾

An evening out instead of one more thing for the shelf.

  • Moleskine Classic Collection ბლოკნოტი
A good planner for the next school year
    53.35 ₾

A teacher's day runs on a planner, and a beautiful one gets opened with pleasure every day.

For example: Moleskine Classic Collection ბლოკნოტი

150–400 ₾

Enough for something people rarely buy for themselves.

400 ₾ and more

When the whole class joins in, a real gift becomes possible. Add the children's album on top: that is the part they will remember.

Prices are approximate for Tbilisi in 2026 and vary from shop to shop. Prices from extra.ge, checked 28.10.2026.

How Wishler helps here

One parent sets it up. Everyone else just opens a link.

  1. One parent creates the gift

In their own Wishler they add the gift, from a shop link or just by name, set the price and switch on "chip in together". Then they add how parents can pay them: a card or bank details.

  2. One link to the parents' chat

The link opens in any browser. Other parents need no app and no account.

  3. Everyone adds their share

Any amount, with a name if they like. Everyone sees how much is collected and how much is left, so nobody has to ask in the chat.

Questions people ask

What to get a teacher from the whole class?

Something the teacher will use or enjoy: a bookshop or spa voucher, theatre tickets, a good bag, an e-reader. Whatever you choose, add an album where every child has a page of their own.

How to collect money for a teacher gift without the chaos?

One parent creates the gift in Wishler with "chip in together" switched on and sends one link to the chat. Each parent adds their share, and everyone sees the total and what is left.

Where does the money go?

Straight from each parent to the organiser, by card or bank transfer, the way you already send money. Wishler only records who pledged what and shows the total; it holds none of the money and takes no fee.

What if not every parent joins?

That is fine: joining is voluntary, and any amount counts. If the total stops short, the organiser picks a gift from the budget below, and the album still carries every child's name.

This time, let the chat talk about the teacher, not the money

End of the school year, New Year, 8 March or the teacher's birthday: create the gift in two minutes and send one link.
